Job Duties:
- Implementing strategies for the system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Overseeing the project and playing a role in communicating technical and nontechnical functionality and requirements.
- Configuring and working with databases and developing functions and queries.
- Developing, testing, and deploying GIS software and GIS datasets.
- Developing scripts and or object orient programming (python preferred).
- Running GIS data ETL workflows, manually or through scheduled automation, including triggers, actions, indicators, notifications, and logging.
Required Skills: 10+ years:
- Experience implementing strategies for SDLC (system development life cycle).
- Experience overseeing large scale technical projects, and playing a role in communicating technical and non-technical functionality and requirements.
- Configuring and working with databases and developing functions and queries.
- Developing, testing, and deploying GIS software and GIS datasets.
- Developing scripts and or object orient programming (python preferred).
- Running GIS data ETL workflows, manually or through scheduled automation, including triggers, actions, indicators, notifications, and logging.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in geography, math, computer science, or related.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience.
- An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered
