Summary

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Geospatial Data Analyst to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Description

The Geospatial Data Analyst will:

  • Deliver recommendations on how to streamline, automate, and overall improve data management.
  • Use ArcGIS geospatial analysis tools to provide support and assist with analytical product development. 
  • Assist with maintenance of customer's data layers including data validation, conditioning, and metadata standardization. Maintain this list on the customer's SharePoint portal.
  • Consult and deliver monthly tasks and reports to the client. 
  • Maintain and recommend enhancements to data update procedures. Track recommendations and corrective actions taken, and implement changes as appropriate following training classes, conferences, executive briefings, and other events.
  • Communicate with software developers and program managers throughout the enterprise as needed to provide user feedback on geospatial systems.
  • Coordinate with appropriate data owners to ensure data maintained on customer dashboard data layers is current and concise.
  • Act as a thought partner in problem solving with the client, ability to suggest solutions for problems in real time. 
  • Aid with customer training classes that are conducted for enterprise users to include remote or deployed personnel.
  • Create and deliver program documentation, including user guides, marketing products, and training materials.
  • Perform data conditioning and data analysis operations using operational data to answer taskings from customers throughout the enterprise.
  • Coordinate with diverse set of end users to aggregate and prioritize situational data in preparation for developing the best approach to delivering the presentation layer. 

 

Qualification

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum years of experience of demonstrated GIS application and GIS Desktop software experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience creating maps, dashboards, and applications using ArcGIS tools. 

 

Required Skills

  • Experience with the ArcGIS tech stack (ArcGIS API, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, ESRI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, and integration.
  • Demonstrated experience with other knowledge management and visualization and geospatial related systems and their underlying platforms.
  • Experience with REST services and API exploration to integrate external data sources, particularly for geospatial and analytical applications.
  • Expertise in using ArcGIS, QGiS, or similar platforms for spatial data analysis, mapping, and visualization.
  • Ability to work with APIs to integrate and manipulate large datasets, especially geospatial data, for analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with other analysts, government task leads, and project managers to support mission-critical operations, often requiring data integration via APIs and automated workflows through Power Automate.
  • Experience in handling and analyzing large geospatial datasets, including data cleaning, processing, and management.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI for building data-driven applications, automating workflows, and creating data visualizations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deconstruct complex questions and generate insights from spatial and non-spatial data using REST services and API interactions.
  • Experience with AI, statistical analysis, and data modeling, with the ability to leverage APIs to gather real-time data and automate complex analysis.
  • Skills in developing, implementing, and optimizing data systems to enhance statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings, deliver user guides, and prepare functional specifications.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently.
