E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior GEOINT/Geospatial Analyst (Special Analysis) to join our team in Reston, VA in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). DIA provides intelligence on foreign militaries and their operating environments so the United States and its allies can prevent and decisively win wars. It serves everyone from the president to the soldier in combat through a combination of expert analysis, intelligence gathering, and cutting-edge science and technology. 

  • Conducts geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social and physical sciences.  
  • Exploits imagery, vector, and other data types to include non-geospatially correlated data to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.  
  • Provides analysis on, but is not limited to, terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity. 
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. 
  • Experience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support. 
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. 
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Must have and be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Certified DoD Analyst with both tactical and strategic assignments. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or Natural Science 
  • Demonstrated ability producing reports for senior DoD decision makers.  
  • Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
