Description:



  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.

  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.

  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.

  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

  • Shall be responsible for researching, designing and producing thematic and reference maps in support of USCENTCOM finished intelligence.

  • Responsible for working with analytic colleagues to define project requirements and provide advice on processes and procedures for optimal visual presentation.

  • Shall be expected to develop and maintain sufficient regional expertise to provide substantive input into the final map product, including geographic features, Board of Geographic Names (BGN) rulings, key issues, and recent developments.

  • Must have the ability to collect, analyze and integrate geographic and substantive data into an effectively designed cartographic product.

  • Shall demonstrate knowledge of cartographic design principles including color and symbology theory, map projections, thematic and statistical mapping, topographic and reference mapping, display hierarchies, typography, and data generation.

  • Shall possess knowledge of GIS principles including data types, data layers, basic geographic analytic and statistical functions, geographic coordinate systems and data formatting.

  • Must have experience with MA Publisher and ARCGIS, animation Autodesk Maya and 3D design printing.

  • Possess desired expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Suite 6 or later (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Adobe After Effects, Premier and Dreamweaver, as well as experience working with intelligence partners, enabling partner collaboration and knowledge of the DoD.



Requirements

Desired experience:



  • Desired minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.


Desired education:



  • Desired master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.


Security Clearance:



  • Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.
