This is a perfect opportunity for you! ISG is seeking a talented GIS Specialist to work with a dynamic team of individuals with the collective purpose of finding creative and unique ways to utilize geospatial data to help solve real-world issues. The successful candidate will use various criteria to assemble, integrate, analyze, and display spatial information in a digital format.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Synthesize a variety of GIS data for use in analysis and mapping products for multi-disciplinary departments within ISG.
  • Work within the established organizational templates, data standards and processes to ensure accuracy of data and maps for inclusion in a diverse array of deliverable products.
  • Produce high quality cartographic products for internal and external client requests and deliverables.
  • Conduct a variety of geoprocessing and GIS analysis tasks
  • Able to assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of GIS data
  • Physical ability to conduct occasional field work and other duties as assigned by GIS Manager
  • Ability to explain the “why” as it relates to business problems and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography or related field with 2 years of experience in Esri GIS Software products.
  • Experience with Esri ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, extensions and geoprocessing tools
  • ArcGIS Online experience – Story Maps, Dashboards, Experience Builder, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, organized, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of cartographic principles and the ability to develop production quality maps.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Arcade, Model Builder, and Python as it relates to geospatial data.
  • Understanding of ArcSDE and versioned editing workflows.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Server
  • JavaScript knowledge would be a nice to have
  • Knowledge of AutoDesk software and how they work interchangeably with ArcGIS products.
  • Adobe Create Suite experience, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
