Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Geography or a related field. Experience: 3 years of experience in Geography or a related field. Experience with GIS Modeling, Data Integration & Conversion, Geocoding, and Geomatics. Experience in database management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced skills in geostatistical and spatial analyses (including buffer analysis, cluster analysis, spatial regression, and Moran’s I). Expertise in ArcGIS, R, and other geovisualization and statistical programs. Experience in web development and optimizing geospatial tools and applications for the web. Familiarity with a variety of programming languages such as Python, SQL , C++, and/or Java to write code and automate basic GIS processes. Advanced skills in geostatistical and spatial analyses (including buffer analysis, cluster analysis, spatial regression, temporal kriging, and Moran’s I).
