About Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC):
To regulate the development and production of oil and gas, deep geothermal resources, the capture and sequestration of carbon, and the underground storage of natural gas in a manner that protects public health, safety, welfare, the environment and wildlife resources.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This TEMPORARY position will provide technical expertise and project management support to (1) implement a Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC) inspection prioritization process and application, (2) migrate the ECMC online map application (MapGuide) to DNR’s new technology platform (ESRI), and (3) assess need to update Rule 411a Surface Water GIS data.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or in another field of study related to the work assignment AND two years of professional experience with GIS, at least one year of which must have included developing new GIS tools and datasets.
